Mace of Acrid Death ¡§C Item ¡§C World of Warcraft

This is an EXCELLENT weapon for Prot Warriors, slow, has parry and mastery, and its a mace, which benefits 2 races (1hand sword does exactly the same, but gnomes cant tank >:D)

Its acceptable for paladins too. Warriors do like parry for Hold the Line, however it doesnt affect item selection much. Youll still want to have roughly equal amounts of dodge and parry because of the diminishing returns.

On the related point, a warrior tank using Hold the Line to claim priority on pieces like this is, not to put too fine a point onto it, really saying "Give me the loot".

Hold the line is nice to be sure, but it is in no way a justification to take gear on the paladin. How does one feel if paladins started claiming priority on Dodge items because "warriors prefer parry"?

It grinds my gears when I see these kinds of arguments, and Im a warrior. This isnt Thottbot, stop posting which class its "better" for.

Yes this is actually the best shield tank weapon. However This is actually the only weapon at lvl 359 which drops from Maloriak. Not one other boss in BOT and BWD and 4 winds drop a pally/warrior tank weapon. Need less to express all shield tanks will prefer it, Our raid combination is a DK tank and me pally tank, I guess I'll have it whether it drops,So great luck hunting Maloriak

AlAkir also drops a 359 STR/STA based sword. Given his random suffix assignment, its possible that certain is a tank suffix. I suppose there havent been enough drops yet to obtain all the info on it though.

Im not 100% sure that the product itself is guaranteed to be STR/STA with a suffix. The one that I saw just happened to be, I suppose.

P.S How do you create a link a clickable url about this forum? My slick phpbb tactics are less than awesome here.

Back in the day, before Blood was the dedicated tank tree for Death Knights, this weapon would have been ideal for a Dual Wield Frost Death Knight tank. But, alas this is now. Only idiot Death Knights would use this.

"Whats wrong with this" is the fact that its a one handed weapon, meaning that the DK would need to dual wield them, and destroy his threat for that reason.

I understand you think your $14.99 monthly entitles you to play the way you would like however the remaining raids $359.76 thinks you should know your role.

I am a tank. So, believe me when I say, Im not trolling you, I genuinely wish to assist you to. If youre dual-wielding as a blood DK tank, and it is working for you, you have to find another raid, since the DPS for the reason that raid isnt working. Believe me.

Really, dual-wield tanking was neglect to start with, but thats a separate issue. Dont cause me to feel stage an intervention.

I dont think he believes that death knights can tank with this, but hes simply looking back with fond memories

This is a great weapon for tanks using 1-handers. Ferals may prefer Malevolence and along with DKs may prefer Akirus the Worm-Breaker (but have to contend with DPS roles on their behalf.) Shield tanks may also findmace of acrid death great use within Soul Blade should they have the money to buy or have the ability to win it from The Bastion of Twilight trash mobs.

Paladin and Warrior tanks alike will take advantage of it if upgrading from the blue-quality weapon. Hold the Lines are not really a free "dibs" call for warrior tanks on items with Parry, anymore of computer being a mace is a free "dibs" require a Human or Dwarf due to their Mace Specialization/Mace Specialization racial abilities. While these classes or races may get a small little more from the item, it's still among the best available tank weapons for other shield tanks.

Man up; win the loot having a roll, your DKP, or whatever. Dont try to get special treatment based on class or race just to sate your purple fever. Its a poor method to socialize and build teams. Instead ¡§C congratulate the winner should you lose and move ahead. Maybe theyll are able to repay you for your action later on.
